2 Day Event
Friday 20th and Saturday 21st April, 2018,

Each Adult ticket package includes a
bespoke T Shirt, an Official Certificate to commemorate the occasion and a Goody Bag with various surprises.
messages from a number of officials from Israel and the Kibbutz Movement will be broadcast.
A Bar will offer a range of drinks and snacks, including Goldstar Beer, Israeli Wine and Wodka.
Soft Drinks (and Wine on Friday Night) are complimentary with meal.
The event will be steamed live and be filmed by film crew.
DAY 1 - FRIDAY EVENING
20th April, 2018, 6.30pm - 11.00pm
KIBBUTZ STYLE KABALAT SHABBAT
Guests will receive a complimentary drinks reception, followed by a Chadar Ochel style Dinner. Yes… self service, trays, the lot, to be enjoyed on long tables and plastic chairs, with a meal reminiscent of a Friday Night on Kibbutz (Don’t worry, there wont be any feathers in the chicken), Soft drinks and traditional Red Wine will be included during the meal. Finally A Giant 70th Birthday Cake will become the dessert, with self service Coffee or Tea. After dinner entertainment will consist of live music by a Bob Marley tribute and DJ
DAY 2 - SATURDAY AFTERNOON
21st April, 2018, 1.00pm - 5.00pm
KIBBUTZ STYLE INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS
Guests will receive a complimentary drinks reception, followed by a cook your own BBQ, all provided, served with various prepared Israeli salads, Pita Bread and Falafel. Soft drinks are included during food service. A Giant 70th Birthday Cake will be presented and served as dessert with complimentary self service Coffee & Tea. Entertainment for children, of all ages, will include various activities and attractions, including a petting animal farm. Music will be provided by live musicians and DJ throughout the afternoon.
VENUE & LOCATION DETAILS
Precise Venue Address to be informed to confirmed attendees closer to the time. It is located in a rural environment with modern amenities and a large Marquee on site. It is set within a picturesque green landscape area within in Hertfordshire.
It is not more that a 30 minute journey from central London. It is also equal distance between Heathrow and Luton Airport, both just 20 minutes away, and very close to Junctions 18 and 20 of the M25.
Nearest train stations include Rickmansworth Underground (7 minutes away), Kings Langley (10 minutes away), and Watford (15 minutes away).
An Israel Style Sherut Service will be available from these train stations and from all listed hotels and places to stay and back again at the end of the events. A small charge for the Sherut Service will be payable to the driver directly.

TICKET & BOOKING INFO
This event is being self funded from the ticket revenues received from confirmed bookings and is being produced on a not for profit basis. For the events to be viable, a minimum participation of 150 adult guests over the two days is required. If this is not achieved by 30 March 2018, regrettably, the event will need to be cancelled. In such circumstances a full refund will be made, (less any foreign exchange costs incurred when exchanging to pay in UK Stirling.
All Bookings subject to £4.00 booking fee.
All Adult Ticket package options include 1 T Shirt and Goody Bag. T Shirt can be upgraded to Zipped Hoody Sweat Shirt or Blue Kibbutz Worker Shirt.

We are inviting anyone who was once a Kibbutz Volunteer to be added to the Kibbutz Volunteer Hall Of Fame. When anyone signs up to this website or to join the Facebook group, we ask for details about you and your Kibbutz experience, as well as a picture when you sign up here.
The details supplied might be listed here, and at an exhibition at the Israel Kibbutz Office or possibly used within the planned book publication later in the year. So SIGN UP now.
It is clear, from the vast majority of your comments, so many of share the same high regard towards our Kibbutz experience, and that it continues to be a significant period of our life experience.
In addition to the plans for the Book, we are in advance talks with a UK based video production company, to support the development of a documentary on the same subject.
