The Kibbutz Volunteer Club is an independent entity, created by Danny Rolnick and currently managed by him and a good friend, Gadi Shor. Danny is a British ex-kibbutz volunteer, who is passionate about Kibbutz and Israel.
Kibbutz Volunteers belong to an exclusive Club of around 400,000 individuals worldwide, all sharing a unique positive experience.
We may not have realised at the time, but, as the years have passed, many of us now consider our time as a Volunteer on Kibbutz, as being one of our most treasured memories of our lives
In light of the fact that Israel celebrates its 70th year of independence during 2018, the idea for wanting to create the Kibbutz Volunteer Club came from a vision that those who had participated in the Kibbutz Volunteer Programme and, therefore had played a part in Israel’s modern history, should be acknowledged and included as part of the county’s celebrations.

We are happy to announce an agreement with an Israeli based publisher, to produce and distribute a souvenir book publication, later this year, exclusively about Kibbutz Volunteer Life over the past decades, as part of the commemorations of Israel’s 70th year. The plan is that the book will be published early September of this year!
The copy dead line is July 30th. It will be distributed to various tourist and book outlets in Israel, as well as within the Kibbutz Networks.
The book, currently named ‘We Were Kibbutz Volunteers’ (part of Israel’s 70 years history), will be a collection of short stories written by ... Us. These stories, as well as our photos from over the years, will be presented in different sections, covering a number of topics, such as specific historical moments, (eg Yom Kippur war etc), aspects of kibbutz volunteer life and work, the social experience, funny memories and more.
